Sell Your Home Curb Appeal
Selling your home is quite a milestone. While most homeowners devote plenty of time and energy to repainting, remodeling, and making sure the inside is clean and cozy, some sellers overlook one of the most important areas of the home: the exterior.

Before a potential buyer sets foot in the entranceway, they'll already base their first impression of your entire home on how the exterior looks. When it comes to successfully selling your home, curb appeal is key. Our REALTORS® understand how important the appearance and condition of your lawn, driveway, and exterior are to potential buyers and have created this quick list of ways you can use spring curb appeal to sell your home.

  1. Grow your garden or get rid of it.
Once winter has passed; make sure that your flower garden is awakening with the spring. Remove plants that will not bloom again and replace them with fresh flowers or shrubs. If you're unable to regularly keep up with the garden's maintenance as you're selling your home, either pay a professional service to care for it or remove it. You can also opt for container gardens instead. These potted plants can be easily purchased and placed around your home and removed when necessary.

Spring Maintenance Checklist

Springtime in Chattanooga is almost here! That means that it's time to make your way through your annual home maintenance checklist.

Our REALTORS® at Fletcher Bright Realty understand that spring cleaning can be quite the task, especially when you have so many other daily or weekly responsibilities to juggle. To help you complete your chores and keep your home looking and functioning well, we've created this handy checklist that will keep you on task and on target for a clean spring!

Most homeowners like to knock off a few easy projects inside before moving to the exterior. Here is a list of 20 home maintenance tasks that you can complete inside the home:

  1. Go through your cleaning products and verify they're still good to use.
  2. Dust fan blades in each room.
  3. Replace light bulbs that have burnt out.
  4. Clean cabinet tops in the kitchen, dining room and office.
  5. Service your HVAC unit so that you can confirm all components are working properly.

Hiking Mullens Cove Chattanooga
Chattanooga is quickly gaining a reputation as one of America's best cities for outdoor adventure. A lot of the folks we meet looking at Chattanooga homes for sale ask us about the best local parks, trails, mountain bike paths, and rock climbing adventures, so we thought we'd take a moment to highlight one of our favorite trails in the area: Mullens Cove Loop.

Adventure Awaits in Chattanooga

The Mullens Cove Loop meanders through the picturesque landscape of Prentice Cooper State Forest, a wild 25,000-acre slice of paradise just 10 miles from Chattanooga. The forest overlooks the rugged Tennessee River Gorge and provides habitat for a wide range of native plant and animal life, as well as a limitless potential for recreation.
